Software introduction

Update on February 3rd at 17:01: The update is now live on Google's Play Store and Apple's App Store. On top of what's been detailed below, it adds MFi controller support and a brand new card system that tweaks how you play the game.
You can also record your adventure with ReplayKit.

In an update that should go live later this week, Gameloft will bring plenty of new features to its popular MMORPG Order & Chaos 2: Redemption.

The biggest one is that pets are coming to Order & Chaos 2. You'll be able to get your own little robot or giant bear that follows you around and fights with you. Those pets will also be able to level up when you feed them.

You can check it out on the video below:

Sature combines painting with turn-based strategy. Sort of.

Its creator Ian Sundstrom says that the idea was drawn from mixing colours on a palette. What he ended up with is a smart Chess-like game of colour-based tactics.

To explain, in each match of Sature, you and your opponent are each given the same number of tiles. Each of these tiles has a colour on them and some arrows pointing outwards.

You have to place these tiles in a grid in such a way that your tiles end up with the brightest colours when all the tiles have been placed.

Your tiles will send their colour to any tiles that your opponent places adjacent to them. Depending on which colours are being mixed, that tile will then be made brighter or darker.

So you've got to think ahead and place your tiles carefully so that they're not turned darker over the match's length.
&#;

Asus didn't announce a VR headset as part of its Computex 2016 press event, but tucked away behind glass in Asus' demo area was a statement that Asus are stepping up to the mobile VR space: a headset with the name 'Asus VR' in it.

It's a big step for Asus, especially as they've previously said that they consider AR a bigger priority than VR. This means we're probably looking at quite an early concept of the VR headset which explains why information is so thin on the ground.

The lack of info is likely then, because it still needs to be finalised. I choose to believe it is, instead, because Asus want to keep us nervously checking RSS feeds for information at 2am when we should be sleeping.

So, what do we know? It has a touchpad with a few buttons on the side, something that'll feel familiar if you've taken a look at the Daydream-compatible ZTE VR. It's got some fancy leather straps on the side much like Asus's ZenWatch.

Speculation here would suggest we're looking at one of the first third-party Daydream headsets, potentially even a ZenVR, but that's just me spinning a narrative; hopefully Asus will officially announce it soon.
Polgar: Magic DetectiveA MAN had two dogs: a Hound, trained to assist him in his sports, and a Housedog, taught to watch the house. When he returned home after a good day's sport, he always gave the Housedog a large share of his spoil. The Hound, feeling much aggrieved at this, reproached his companion, saying, "It is very hard to have all this labor, while you, who do not assist in the chase, luxuriate on the fruits of my exertions." The Housedog replied, "Do not blame me, my friend, but find fault with the master, who has not taught me to labor, but to depend for subsistence on the labor of others."

Well, this is interesting. In a speech at last week's Webby awards, where Pokemon GO won a number of different awards - including Best Mobile Game – Niantic may well have teased us with something massive.

You see, the Webbys only allow winners five word speeches. And Archit Bhargava, global marketing product lead for Niantic, had the following to say...

"This summer will be legendary."

Now, if you were a news-based website, you might take that as the biggest indication yet that everyone's favourite big hitters, the Legendary Pokemon, are going to be coming to Pokemon GO sometime later in the year.

Of course, this doesn't count as anything like confirmation, but it's tantalising all the same. We'll update you as soon as we know more.
Nintendo Life&#;The broken bosoms that to me belong

Samsung is not having a good week…or couple of months as their latest smartphone is causing them, and us, more than a few headaches. However it looks like Oculus has made a tough call today as they've withdrawn Gear VR support for the Note7.

A message on Oculus' official website earlier stated: "Oculus is removing support for all Note7 devices on the Oculus platform. Until further notice, Note7 devices will not be compatible with the Gear VR." Clearly the fear which has probably run through our minds has finally hit the top dogs at Oculus. After all, a Note7 catching fire/exploding right next to someone's eyes is a mildly bigger deal than it catching fire in someone's pocket.

Some people will grumble but I don't blame them at all. Having gotten a Gear VR for the Note7, I'd be lying if I said I'd been using it frequently since this all kicked off in September. I rather like my eyeballs intact and working, thank you.

Of course, the likelihood of an incident like that happening is slim to none, but clearly Oculus thought the potential of such an incident was enough.
